A detergent free
soap made with Goats Milk and Shea Butter which are well known as moisturizing
agents.Detergents (SLS or Sodium
Laureth Sulfate for example) are chemical foaming agents used in many over the
counter products sold as soap, but really are not. True soaps are made from
oils in reaction (saponification) to an alkali. A major component of
saponification is glycerin.Detergent
based cleansers add glycerin back into their products to reduce potential drying
to the skin, but glycerin is an expensive additive and is typically only found
in small quantities in commercial products.
