This softbound book is titled, “Pike Trail Country: A Pictorial History of North Central Kansas” by David F. Wiebe. The copy was printed in a limited edition by Sterling Press in Canton, Kansas in 1981. The book contains 33 pages and provides a history of Republic, Cloud, Ottawa, Saline, Washington, Clay and Dickinson Counties. The Table of Contents describes each of the seven counties.

There are black and white early photos of buildings/events of the following cities and counties: Clay Center, Clifton, Green, Concordia, Abilene, Solomon, Gypsum, Chapman, Herington, Minneapolis, Delphos, Scandia, Republic City, Courtland,Belleville, Munden, Norway, Kackley, Salina, Greenleaf, Linn and Enterprise. The photos include threshing days, city views, advertisements and many other interesting pictures of the area. I will be an interesting addition to your collection!
