Important Note about Mitsubishi 3D: In order to utilize all types of 3D on Mitsubishi 3D Ready DLP HDTVs, it is necessary to purchase the 3DC-1000 3D Starter Kit. The 3D Starter Kit enables the Mitsubishi to convert "Frame Packing" 3D used in Blu-Ray Disc 3D movies, "side-by-side" 3D used in cable/satellite and "top-and-bottom" 3D to the "checkerboard" 3D type accepted by Mitsubishi 3D DLPs.
