Hello!  My name is Ryan Hurd and I am 16 years old.  I have been a blacksmith for several years now.  I enjoy it very much.  Included with my blacksmith training is bladesmithing. 

This knife is handforged by me.  It has been recycled from truck springs so it is environmentally friendly.  The spalted maple handle was also recycled from a rotting tree in a church yard.  The tree was sawmilled by a friend of mine and me and the handle was made. 

This knife is 6 3/4 inches long.  The blade length is 3 1/2 inches.  The maximum width of the blade is 1 inch.  The maximum thickness is 1/4 inch.

This is a beautiful knife.  It has been polished, but I left some of the texture from the springs in the knife.  The spine of the knife has been chamfered which gives a soft look.  All of these things give the knife a unique look.  Guaranteed to be a one-of-a-kind knife that will last!

This knife makes a great collectible.  It also is perfect for a small hunting/skinning knife.  It also makes a perfect gift for a knife-enthusiast.
