This is a nice knife for hunting and skinning.  It also is just a handy knife.

This knife was made totally by me using the traditional blacksmithing techniques that I have been taught.  I used recycled truck springs so this knife is environmentally friendly!  After forging the knife, it was hardened, tempered, and hollow ground.  It has been sharpened on two Japanese water stones and honed with a strop.

This knife has a wooden handle.  The knife's tang is 1/2 of the way into the handle.  It has 2 rivets.  The handle has been stained with a walnut stain.

This knife has a gorgeous finish.  It has been polished, but I left just a little bit of the texture of the springs in it in some places.  You might not be able to see it in the pictures, sorry.  EIther way, these little pits guarantee that this knife is totally unique.  Everything about this knife makes it a real beauty!
