A Vintage Carved Mahogany w/Beech Inlay Trunk

This beautiful trunk is made of Mahogany and all of the detailed carvings of the horses and mountains have been done in Beech. There is a clear finish that has been applied over the whole trunk.

The age has been estimated in the 1970's.

It has been wonderfully kept and rarely used. It measures 40" [w] x 20" [h] x 22" [d], the inside measurements are 38" [w] x 18 1/2" [d] x 14" [h]

There are 4 small chips that we see.  2 on top, 1 on the side and 1 on the leg.

The trunk weighs approximately 35 lbs.
