I make this soap from scratch with oils of soy and palm kernel; bentonite clay; generous amounts of almond scent oil; pure liquid glycerin to add later; and stearic beads to make the lather fuller and longer-lasting. I love this soap because it makes a thick foam that sticks to my razor and carries away the whiskers without dripping. I use a mixture of soft and hard saponifiers so the cake is like putty or a hard cream; you can mold it into the curve of any mug or bowl. It's particularly handy for scuttles that normally require specially-shaped soaps.
