It represents leading edge technology in LCD imaging for broadcast and professional video applications. The displays feature high resolution, 1.2 mega-pixel screens with completely digital signal processing. All SMPTE and ITU SDI standards and frame rates are accepted and displayed on each screen of this model. All video formats are scaled to fit on screen in the highest resolution. Each screen is calibrated to SMPTE standards for gamma and color temperature. All Standard Def and HDTV Formats Displayed The V-R653P-HDSDI will display pretty much any HD- or SD-SDI video signal, whether 4:3 or 16:9 ratio at any frame rate. It complies with SMPTE and the international ITU standards for digital video. The monitors accept single SDI BNC connectors only with a loop output from each monitor. Convenient Rack Mount Access The magic of the line of Marshall rack-mount monitors is that they all tilt forward and back for 2 excellent purposes. The first function of the tilt mechanism is that it makes for more accurate viewing angles. Even with the TFT technology, the monitors incorporate, sometimes a slight tilt will allow for better critical viewing. The second function of the tilting mechanism is that it gives your tape operator access to the monitor's rear panel. Though this triple monitor unit accepts only single BNC input for HD or SD-SDI the looping output connector is also reachable without having to crawl behind a dusty equipment rack. High Contrast Ratio Each monitor has an amazing 500:1 ratio of contrast between black and white.
