designed and constructed with 440c High Carbon stainless steel. Not all steels are the same! 440c is a favorite of the US military and is widely in use today. It's primary quality is hardness with flexibility. Also it take extreme temperatures on both ends and maintains it's integrity and edge. The blade's length is 13" with a 5" handle area. Polished and sharpened blade.  If your skinning an animal or having a close encounter with Sasquatch this blade, with it's length and classic design, is a great choice

Handle is made of Cedar burl from Hawaii and an Elk antler
