    Being offered for sale is this Elegant Victorian 19th Century Oil Painting on Canvas of A Young Maiden Picking Flowers By A Stream in a Gold Gesso Frame.This gorgeous painting measures 33 1/4 inches high by 22 3/4 inches wide, depth of the frame measures 2  inches, and this painting weighs 7 lbs 2 oz. The actual canvas portion measures 27 inches high by 16 1/2 inches wide. I am unable to locate an artist signature but most likely this is one of those "Sunday Afternoon Artists" paintings during a era where young ladies were encouraged to have hobbies of the arts like painting, music and the art of china painting. This old 19th century OOC has been placed in a newer gold gilt frame that accents this painting just beautifully!...just a stunning Victorian painting perfect to add an elegant touch to your Victorian decor. Please view and examine the pictures as part of the description and please ask all questions and concerns before purchase.
