Being offered for sale is this fine Victorian Walnut Library table / writing desk with drawer and diamond point & incised carvings circa 1880. This fine 19th century writing desk features a diamond point carved apron, turned finials, incised carvings and tapered splayed legs with a ring turned stretcher at the center.
This writing desk measures 29 1/2 inches in height,37 inches wide and 22 1/2 inches deep and weighs approximately 45 lbs. The height from the floor to the bottom of the carved apron measures 23 1/2 inches.
Vintage red velvet type fabric accents the desk top and the single drawer at the front has period dove-tailed ends and its lock intact but we do not have the key.
This 19th century writing desk / library table is solid and tight and is a terrific size to use in about any room of your home for a wonderful desk area, lamp table or work table.
