Being offered for sale is this Remarkable American Federal Sheraton Crotch Mahogany & Tiger Maple Dresser / Vanity circa 1820. This beautiful 19th century piece features gorgeous crotch mahogany & tiger maple with fabulous acanthus carved legs and early hand-cut dovetailed ends on the drawers with the original wood pulls.

This piece measures 62 3/4 inches in height from the floor to the top of the mirror,36 1/2 inches in height from the floor to the top of the lower base at the front,37 inches wide and 18 1/4 inches deep and weighs approximately 95 lbs.

This dresser appears to have its original mirror thats framed in beautiful crotch mahogany and the mirror does pivot front to back to adjust for viewing and is attached to two ring turned mirror supports. The framed mirror measures 26 inches wide by 18 inches high and does show some slight silver dusting as age appropriate.This early 19th century dresser /vanity is in fantastic antique condition for a piece almost 200 years old, nice and clean and is tight and solid with a grand presence. Thee are a couple of small veneer chips here and there but nothing that distracts from the timeless beauty this piece offers.
