Being presented for sale is this large Victorian Burl Walnut Brown Marble Top Washstand / Nightstand circa 1880's. This is a wonderful larger washstand that would make a fantastic nightstand / bedside table. This piece measures 28 1/2 inches in height, 36 1/2 inches wide and 19 inches deep and weighs approximately 90 lbs. The original brown marble top has a serpentine front and is in wonderful antique condition with no chips or cracks. The base also has a serpentine front and offers great storage with the larger top drawer, two smaller drawers on the left and a cabinet on the right. We believe the brass Victorian hardware to be original and the lock is intact on the drawer but we do not have the key. The right side does have a slight vertical bow which I have tried to show in the pictures...nothing major in my opinion but worth mentioning.
