Being presented for sale is this Fantastic American Empire Mahogany Bow Front China Cabinet with C Scroll Feet and Working lock with the key circa 1900. We believe this wonderful china cabinet to have its original finish, all original wavy glass with three original shelves that each have plate groves at the back, with its working lock & key and original brass makers tag on the back ( "The Van Heusen Charles Co., Albany, NY " ) with the original casters intact on all four feet.
This china cabinet measures 62 3/4 inches tall,45 3/4 inches wide and 18 inches deep and weighs approximately 150 lbs. Each of the three shelves measures 42 inches wide by 12 1/4 inches deep.
We believe the mirrors at the back to also be original and the bottom two do show some silver loss and cloudiness as common with these old mirrors.
This American Empire Bow front china cabinet is solid, sturdy and nicely made and would be a fabulous addition to your dining room to display that antique set of china or those special collectibles.
