   Presented for sale is this rare find.........an antique brass fender guard for a "potbelly Stove" or parlor stove. I do not recall ever seeing one designed for a round type heater or stove. This fender measures a total outside width of 23 1/2 inches,inside width of 18 3/4,height of 12 inches, and front to back depth of 12 inches from the curve of the inside to the outside,and weighs almost 8 lbs. This is a very unusual early piece and is being sold as found, does show tarnish and wear, some small dents and dings from years of usage and may can be polished if desired...would even be great painted heat stove black and placed in front of a black cast iron potbelly stove / heater.
