A beautiful reproduction of the Massachusetts original, dating to 1760-1770. Serpentine curves and high bracket feet typify Rococo styling. This chest is made of mahogany with complex joinery and unique dovetailing. There are four graduated drawers embellished with exceptionally fine brasses. The chest body rests on high sculpted bracket feet. This chest is truly a rare find and one of the finest from the Williamsburg Collection.
