Description: It is an original engraved antique map with original handcoloring and the desirable decorative border. It is blank on the reverse and from the 1860 First Edition of Johnson's Family Atlas. A copy of the title page is included for authenticity. It is not matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as shown in the main pic.
Size: The map image measures approximately 17 by 24 inches on a 18 by 25 1/2" page and a margin all around for framing.
Condition: The map is in Fair condition with overall tonal aging and original hand color with a centerfold as issued. The centerfold was splitting and has been reinforced on the reverse, so it can no longer be framed but very good for framing. There is some handling around the edges, slight browning at the top of the fold and a couple of nicks on the edge, basically as seen in the main pic. The pics are of the actual map.
