Description: It is an authentic antique Civil War era map with hand coloring as issued from Mitchell's New General Atlas published by S. Augustus Mitchell in Philadelphia, 1863. The map also has a copyright date of 1860 in the bottom margin of the map. A copy of the title page is included for authenticity. It is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pic.
Size: The map image measures approximately 11 by 13 1/2 inches on a 12 by 15" page and a margin all around for framing.
Condition: The map is in Very Good to Excellent condition with overall light tonal aging. Other than a couple of minor smudges in the margin, the map is very clean with vibrant original color as issued with a nice antique appearance that would frame up nicely. We have provided plenty of pics are of the actual map that are very accurate of color and condition.
