Description: It is an Original Antique Map: Not a Reproduction!" The map is from the Illustrated Historical Atlas of the State of Indiana, published by Baskin, Forester & Co. in Chicago, 1876. A copy of the title page is included with the map for authenticity. It is a steel plate engraved map with overlaid cerograph color. It is a very detailed map showing Railroads, post offices, county seats, highways, townships, churches, schools, creeks and other details. On one side is a map of Carroll County and on the other are plans of Pittsburg, Delphi and Chaucey, Clarksville and West point in Tippecanoe County, so you will have to choose which side to frame
Size: The map image measures approximately 13 by 16 inches on a 14 by 17 1/4" page with generally a half inch or more all around for framing.
Condition: Both sides are in Fair condition with nice overlaid color on a bright page. There are some light stains around the edges and a inch tear in the upper margin that has been creased back and a couple of minor light creases in the bottom left. The Delphi and Pittsburg side is the cleanest while the Carroll County side has some handling smudges in the area around th emap. The pics are of the actual map and very accurate.
