Description: It is an Original Antique Map: Not a Reproduction!" The map is from the Illustrated Historical Atlas of the State of Indiana, published by Baskin, Forester & Co. in Chicago, 1876. A copy of the title page is included with the map for authenticity. It is a steel plate engraved map with overlaid cerograph color. It is a very detailed map showing Railroads, post offices, county seats, highways, townships, churches, schools, creeks and other details.
Size: The map image measures approximately 13 by 16 inches on a 14 by 17 1/4" page with generally a half inch or more all around for framing.
Condition: It is in Good condition with nice overlaid color on a bright page. There is some light stains around the edges with a couple of nicks along the bottom edge and a minor crease across the bottom left, otherwise the map image area is very clean. The pics are of the actual map and very accurate.
