Description: It is an Original Antique Map: Not a Reproduction!" The map is from the Illustrated Historical Atlas of the State of Indiana, published by Baskin, Forester & Co. in Chicago, 1876. A copy of the title page is included with the map for authenticity. It is a steel plate engraved map with overlaid cerograph color. It is a very detailed map showing Railroads, post offices, county seats, highways, townships, churches, schools, creeks and other details. It is one sheet with a map on each side so you would have to decide which side to frame. There is a map of Delaware County on one side and Madison County on the other.
Size: The map image measures approximately 13 by 16 inches on a 14 by 17 1/4" page with generally a half inch or more all around for framing.
Condition: Both sides are in Good to Very Good condition with overlaid color on a bright page. There a couple of very light brown areas, nothing distracting, otherwise it is very clean and will frame up nicely. The pics are of the actual map. The color is most accurate in the main pic.
