Description: It is an original copper engraved antique map in great shape with original handcoloring. It is by Jacobus Harrewijn published in Dr. Francisco Afferden's Atlas Abreviado o Compeiosa Geographia del Mundo Antiguo y Nuevo, published in Amberes (now Antwerp), Belgium: Henrico Verdussen, 1725. It is a Dutch map in a Spanish publication printed in Antwerp, which was under Spanish Control until the War of Spanish Succession in 1715. The maps were probably designed slightly earlier, I have seen dates as early as 1695 attributed to them, but our title has a publication date of 1725. A copy of the title page with the date and publishing information is included for authenticity. These are really Great looking maps for their age, they don't get much better.
Size: The map image measures approximately 6 by 7 1/4 inches on a 7 by 8 1/4" page with a margin all around for framing.
Condition: The map is in Very Good to Excellent condition with overall light tonal ageing and two vertical folds as issued. It has vibrant original hand coloring as issued, printed on a heavy page, blank on the reverse. The map is very clean with no defects to mention. The pics are very accurate.

Shipping: $2.90 for US First Class or $4.95 for Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation in the USA or First Class International to Canada. International buyers add $8 for International Airmail elsewhere in the World or $23 for Priority International, which includes Paypal insurance. We ship daily, so if still bidding send us a quick email to hold or better just pay all at once at the end.
Shipping to Italy: Due to ongoing problems with the Italian Post, an additional $10.80 for Registration plus the cost of shipping is now required for all shipments to Italy.
Save on Shipping: We only charge one shipping fee based on the largest map or print with multiple items shipped along with it for no extra costs. Purchase 5 or more maps or prints and receive Free Priority shipping in USA or First Class International or Reduced Priority International.
Insurance rates: For the USA we recommended and offer optional low insurance of $1.70 for up $50, $2.15 up to $100 and $2.60 up to $200, etc... International registration is an additional $10.80 and may be required for items of high value. Insurance is encouraged: without it we will not be responsible once item is shipped. Most USA and International Priority shipments are now covered byPaypal, so check your Paypal terms for more information.
International Customs Fees: It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay all Customs Taxes, VAT or other fees that may be due upon arrival. Please consult your country's Customs Regulations for more details on your country. Delays by Customs: Although most items arrive at their destination very quickly, we have no control over how long it takes an item to move through Customs, which can be held for up to six weeks.

Items of high value may require Insured Express Mail. We will send an invoice with Registration after purchase. No exceptions, although we are glad to combine multiple purchases for the one shipping fee. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: We are not able to calculate nor pay individual country Customs nor VAT Taxes, the buyer is responsible for paying these fees upon arrival if applicable. Fortunately, printed matter is often duty free, but please check your country's Customs Regulations.
