Description: It is an original copper engraved antique map with original handcolored and a centerfold as issued. It is engraved by Smith and published May 1, 1819 by Mawman and others, originally from an edition of Guthrie's Geography. The map is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pic.
Size: The map image measures approximately 7 3/4 by 9 1/2 inches on a 8 1/2 by 10 1/2" page as seen in the pic with a margin all around for matting.
Condition: The map is in Good or better condition for its age with very light overall tonal ageing. There are a couple of bumped corners, otherwise it is very clean, a strong impression with bright handcoloring as issued on heavy quality paper, blank on the reverse. See the pics, they are most revealing of actual condition. A very nice map!

Shipping: $2.50 for First Class or $4.90 for Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation in the USA, $3 to Canada and $5 by International Airmail elsewhere in the world or $12.80 for International Priority. No additional postage on multiple maps shipped together, shipping fee determined by the largest item. Free Shipping on purchases of 5 or more maps. We do ship daily so let us know if you are still bidding and want us to hold until all auctions have ended to save on shipping. These are within a few cents of the actual postal rates by USPS.
Insurance rates: We recommend and offer optional low insurance of $1.70 for up to $100 of value and $3 up to $200, etc. Priority International mail is insured or we can ship registered for an additional $11.
