Description: It is an original engraved antique map in great shape with vibrant handcoloring. It has a copyright of July 1, 1836 along the bottom and the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge (SDUK)appears in the title block. The society was formed in 1826 and committed to the publication of the most upto date scientific findings for the dispersion of knowledge to the public. The maps are some of the most detailed of the period. Overall, a Beautiful Map that will frame up nicely.
Size: The map image measures approximately 12 1/2 by 15 1/2 inches on a 13 1/2 by 16" page with a margin all around for framing.
Condition: The map is in Good or better condition with overall tonal aging and a slight darkening around the edges. The map image is very clean with no distracting defects to mention, printed on quality paper, handcoloring and blank on the reverse. The binding side margin at the bottom has been left untrimmed for the extra paper for matting. The pics are of the actual map.

Shipping: $5 for Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation in the USA and $5 by International Airmail to Canada. Elsewhere in the world, except Italy, add $7 for International Airmail or $2 for International Priority Airmail. Italy: We will only ship to Italy by Insured International Priority Airmail. Please note these rates are very close to actual postage rates. No additional postage on multiple maps shipped together with the first, we are glad to ship as many maps as you want for one $5 or $7 shipping fee. Free Shipping on purchases of 5 or more maps. Insurance rates: We recommended and offer optional low insurance of $2.00 for up to $100 of value and $3 up to $200, $4 up to $300, etc. International registration with insurance is an additional $8.00. Insurance is encouraged: without it we will not be responsible once item is shipped.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: We are not able to calculate nor pay individual country Customs nor VAT Taxes, the buyer is responsible for paying these fees upon arrival if applicable.
