Description: It is an original antique lithograph map with hand color outlining from Heinrich Berghaus' Univeral Handatlas published in Gogau, Germany by Carl Flemming, 1855. The ocean is in lithograph color and the outlining on the map is all done by hand as issued. The map is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pic. The map shows Bolivia with a seaport, La Plata or the Argentine Republic, Patagona and Terra de Fuego as separate entities, and also Peru, Ecuador, Columbia as New Grenada, Venezuela, Guayana, Paraguay, Uruguay, the Falklands, Amazon and other places. Overall, A Beautiful Map that will frame up nicely.
Size: The map image measures approximately 12 by 14 1/2 inches on a 14 by 18" page as seen in the pic. A nice wide margin all around for matting.
Condition: The map is in Good condition with some darkening around the edges and some damp stains in the upper corners and top margin as seen in the pic. It is a dark impression with bright vibrant hand coloring as issue, blank on the reverse. The color is superb and very accurately represented in the pic. The pic is of the actual map.

encouraged. Payment is expected within 7 days, after which Nonpaying
Bidders will be reported to Ebay to recoup our listing fees.
Shipping: $2.90 for First Class
or $4.95 for Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation in the USA; $5 for
First Class International to Canada; $8 for International Airmail
elsewhere in the World or $23 for Priority International, which
includes Paypal insurance. We ship daily, so if still bidding send us a
quick email to hold or better just pay all at once at the end.
Shipping to Italy: Due to
ongoing problems with the Italian Post, an additional $10.80 for
Registration plus the cost of shipping is now required for all
shipments to Italy with the exception of small prints of low value, ask
if you have questions.
Save on Shipping: We only
charge one shipping fee based on the largest map or print with multiple
items shipped along with it for no extra costs. Purchase 5 or more maps
or prints and receive Free First Class shipping in USA or First Class
International elsewhere in the world, although registration may be
required on shipments of high value.
International Insurance/Registration: Registration
is offered and may be required on all overseas shipments of high value
at $10.80, without it we will not be responsible once item is shipped.
Registration is required for all shipments to Italy.
International Customs and VAT Fees:
It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay all Customs Taxes, VAT or
other fees that may be due upon arrival. These fees vary greatly from
country to country and ebay policy is that the buyer is responsible for
their country's taxes and fees. Please consult your country's Customs
Regulations for more details on your country, printed matter is duty
free in many countries. We declare the full purchase value as required
by law. Delays by Customs: Although most items arrive at their
destination very quickly, we have no control over how long it takes an
item to move through Customs, which can be held for up to six weeks in
rare cases.
