Description: It is an original antique map with handcoloring as issued from Joseph Meyer's Zeitung Atlas, circa 1859. The name of the atlas appear in the upper left margin in small print, other publication documentation appears in the bottom margin. There is not a title page, but the it is well documented on the map. There is a lot of very small detail with many place names as in the German cartographic tradition. It is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pic.
Size: The map image measures approximately 7 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches on a 8 1/2 by 10 3/4" page as seen in the pic. It has a wide margin all around with a centerfold as issued.
Condition: The map is in Good to Very Good condition. There is a slight double crease along the centerfold. Other than some very light smudges around the edges the map is very clean with bright color, blank on the reverse. The number is neatly handwritten in the top right. Overall, a very nice map that will frame up well. See the pics, which shows all.

Confirmation in the USA; $5.00 for First Class to Canada and $8.00 for
First Class International Airmail elsewhere in the World or $23.00 for

International, which includes Paypal insurance. We ship daily, so if

Shipping to Italy:
Due to ongoing problems with the Italian Post, an additional $10.80 for
Registration plus the cost of shipping is now required for all
shipments to Italy with the exception of small prints of low value, ask
if you have questions.
Save on Shipping:
We only charge one shipping fee based on the largest map or print with
multiple items shipped along with it for no extra costs. Purchase 5 or
more maps or prints and receive Free First Class shipping in USA or
First Class International elsewhere in the world, although registration
may be required on shipments of high value.
Domestic Insurance: Insurance is now included in Paypal for USA.
International Insurance/Registration:
Registration is offered and may be required on all overseas shipments
of high value at $10.80, without it we will not be responsible once
item is shipped. Registration is required for all shipments to Italy.
International Customs and VAT Fees:
It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay all Customs Taxes, VAT or
other fees that may be due upon arrival. These fees vary greatly from
country to country and ebay policy is that the buyer is responsible for
their country's taxes and fees. Please consult your country's Customs
Regulations for more details on your country, printed matter is duty
free in many countries. We declare the full purchase value as required
by law. Delays by Customs: Although most items arrive at their
destination very quickly, we have no control over how long it takes an
item to move through Customs, which can be held for up to six weeks in
rare cases.
