Title: Carte du Pays Compris entre L'Isar et L'Inn
Description: It is an original engraved antique map in excellent condition with the plate mark indentions clearly shown in the margins. It is designed by A.H. Dufour and published in Thiers Atlas de L'Histoire du Consulat et de L'Empire (Paris: Paulin, 1859). The map itself is well documented on the map: the title of the atlas appears in the upper left margin, the title in the top center, the plate number in the upper right, the designer Dufour's name in the bottom left, the publisher Paulin's name in bottom center and the engraver Dyonnet in the bottom right. A copy of the title page with the date is also included for authenticity. This series of maps were designed to illustrate the terrain of the battles of the Napoleonic campaigns. They are very detailed in terms of the topography and are generally focused around a particular region, battlefield or campaign, although military positions are generally not shown. They are not matted nor mounted, individual sheets only. These are fairly rare and early in date for this degree of detail, published without a centerfold: usually they were folded in half for the later publication, so these are exceptionally nice for framing or research.
Size: The map image measures approximately 8 by 7 1/2 inches on a 10 1/2 by 17" page with a margin all around for framing as seen in the pic.
Condition: The map is in Excellent condition, a nice dark impression printed on a bright clean page, blank on the reverse side. The map is very clean with no defects to mention other than the occasional random small spot in the margins if one looks really close. See the pics for a view of the entire map and details.

Shipping: $2.95 for First Class or $4.95 for
Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation in the USA; $5.00 for International
Airmail to Canada or $8 elsewhere in the World or $11.80 for Priority International, which
includes Paypal insurance. We ship daily, so if still bidding send us a quick
email to hold or better just pay all at once at the end.
Shipping to
Italy: Due to ongoing problems with the Italian Post, an additional
$10.80 for Registration plus the cost of shipping is now required for all
shipments to Italy with the exception of small prints of low value, ask if you
have questions.
Save on Shipping: We only charge one shipping
fee based on the largest map or print with multiple items shipped along with it
for no extra costs. Purchase 5 or more maps or prints and receive Free First
Class shipping in USA or First Class International elsewhere in the world,
although registration may be required on shipments of high value.
Domestic
Insurance: Insurance is now included in Paypal for USA.
International
Insurance/Registration: Registration is offered and may be required on
all overseas shipments of high value at $10.80, without it we will not be
responsible once item is shipped. Registration is required for all shipments to
Italy.
International Customs and VAT Fees: It is the
responsibility of the buyer to pay all Customs Taxes, VAT or other fees that may
be due upon arrival. These fees vary greatly from country to country and ebay
policy is that the buyer is responsible for their country's taxes and fees.

purchase value as required by law. Delays by Customs: Although most items
arrive at their destination very quickly, we have no control over how long it
takes an item to move through Customs, which can be held for up to six weeks in
