Description: It is an original antique engraved map with the plate marks embossed in the margins and original handcoloring. It is from M. Malte-Brun's Atlas de la Geographie Universelle (Paris: Garnier Feres Editors, c. 1860). A copy of the title pages is included. The map is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pic. A beautiful map in excellent condition!
Size: The map image measures approximately 12 by 17 inches on a 16 by 23" page with a wide margin of an inch or more all around for matting.
Condition: The map is in Excellent condition printed on a bright page. Other than a couple of light spots in the margin and there is a split along the top of the centerfold of about an 1 1/2 inch, in the margin only. It is a strong impression with bright vibrant original hand coloring, blank on the reverse. The pics are of the actual map.

Please note these rates are very close to actual postage rates. No additional postage on multiple maps shipped together with the first, so we will ship as many maps as you want for one $5 to $10 shipping Fee depending on the largest map. Insurance rates: We recommended and offer optional low insurance of $2.00 for up to $100 of value and $3 up to $200, etc; For international buyers who desire insurance, the Priority International mail is the best option since Insurance is included or add $11 plus shipping for Registered Airmail.
