It is an original antique Map: Not a Reproduction!"  It is an engraved map with vibrant handcoloring, printed on one sheet with no centerfold, blank on the back. A great map for study or framing.  It is from a c.1862 Malte-Brun Atlas de la Geographie Universelle, published in Paris by Garnier Freres Editors. A copy of the title page of the Atlas is also included with all maps for authenticity. The map image measures approximately 8 1/2 by 12 inches on an 11 by 15 1/2" page with approximately a 1 inch margin on three sides, but the bottom margin is cut close. 

Condition: The map is in Good to Very Good condition printed on a bright heavy page with a high cotton content, virtually acid free with only a slight buffed antique quality.  There is some edgewear around the edges of the margin; otherwise, it is very clean with original vibrant handcoloring. It is a very beautiful map with an antique quality that will certainly frame up nicely.  See the detailed pics for better detail and truer color representation.

Shipping: $2.95 for First Class or $4.95 for Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation in the USA; $2.95 for First Class International to Canada; $7 for International Airmail elsewhere in the World or $23.00 for Priority International, which includes Paypal insurance. We ship daily, so if still bidding send us a quick email to hold or better just pay all at once at the end.

Shipping to Italy: Due to ongoing problems with the Italian Post, an additional $10.80 for Registration plus the cost of shipping is now required for all shipments to Italy with the exception of small prints of low value, ask if you have questions.

Save on Shipping: We only charge one shipping fee based on the largest map or print with multiple items shipped along with it for no extra costs. Purchase 5 or more maps or prints and receive Free First Class shipping in USA or First Class International elsewhere in the world, although registration may be required on shipments of high value.

International Insurance/Registration: Registration is offered and may be required on all overseas shipments of high value at $10.80, without it we will not be responsible once item is shipped.  Registration is required for all shipments to Italy.

International Customs and VAT Fees: It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay all Customs Taxes, VAT or other fees that may be due upon arrival. These fees vary greatly from country to country and ebay policy is that the buyer is responsible for their country's taxes and fees. Please consult your country's Customs Regulations for more details on your country, printed matter is duty free in many countries. We declare the full purchase value as required by law.  Delays by Customs: Although most items arrive at their destination very quickly, we have no control over how long it takes an item to move through Customs, which can be held for up to six weeks in rare cases.
