In the 1980's CLARICE TAYLOR recreated one of the true legends of Black Entertainment named JACKIE "MOMS" MABLEY and brought that entertainment to a New York City Theatre in an outstanding production of MOMS.
This very entertaining show followed the life of MOMS from very early in Harlem all the way to her many appearances on T.V. (with Johnny Carson .. . .one of his favorites) in its early days.
