GIRL WITH THE FIRE BANNER (1958)
Utamatsuri Kanzashi Matoi - 1868, After having defeated the Shoguns Army,
the Satsuma / Choshu Imperial Army is now marching from Kyoto to Edo.
Against this backdrop, many members of Edo's firefighters decide to allow the Satsuma Mansion to burn to the ground rather then putting out the fire. The ‘H’ 'Brigade of firefighters, led by Oharu, the daughter of the Brigades Commander, takes exception to this neglect of duty.
When Shintaro, a young ronin who has noted the feelings of vengeance towards the Satsuma and Choshu clans joins forces with the H Brigade to protect the residents of Edo, a battle between the various factions begins.
