Shin Zatoichi - After making 25 films as Zatoichi the Blind Swordsman, Shintaro Katsu the owner of Katsu Productions decided to move to Television for 4 seasons.

There were 100 episodes over the 4 seasons and while all of them are very good to excellent, this 2 part finale brings the series and the character to an exciting conclusion unlike anything that ever went before or after.
 
The Blind Swordsman returns for the final time in his ground-breaking television series.  As exciting and well made as any of his films, Zatoichi’s travels around the nation are chronicled as he finds himself embroiled in the lives of those who desperately need his help.  Katsu Shintaro is brilliant in his signature character while maintaining the highest standards of filmmaking.
