This is a HDD CADDY for a PS3. This is compatable with the following units. CECH-A01 CECH-B01 CECH-E01 CECH-G01 Special Instructions. A Bluray drive control board is motherboard specific. Meaning that they are not interchangable. there are programs and ways to switch the bga chip from one board to another if board is damaged. Its the buyers repsonsibility to make sure they are capable of doing this before ordering. The boards are only for a 400AAA assembly only. This unit comes in the PS3 from the manufacturer. We do not condone the use of this PSU in any other models except the ones listed above. If you do so then you do it at your own risk. The unit has been tested and is in good working order.
