She has 3/4 arms, and full legs, makes it wonderful when dressing her in onesies or summer outfits! She also has a belly plate with a just born umbillical stump, clipped. She is one of the most lifelike babies I have ever had the pleasure of reborning! Kailee was reborn on February 8, 2011, at 11:23 am. Thank you for stopping in to my auction today. I have been reborning for a few years now, and have been a toy artist for over 20 years. Finding the art of reborning was like coming home, so comfortable, after years of perfecting the art of creating toys and paintings for childrens rooms, from plush to oils, to creating ceramic and porcelain dolls. I am a mother of five, and have been a foster mom of over 30 children. I am now a proud grandmother, and have spent the last few years in a state of constant learning, perfecting different techniques, studying the best of the best in the reborning world. I have begun to produce my own reborn babies, in a quality that I know will make any collector happy to add one of my babies to their collection. I use only Genesis Heat Set Paints, and nylon pockets of various mediums, from glass beads, to poly beads, to all new non toxic mediums for weighting. I use only those mediums that will add to the 'realism' of my babies. I never use inferior products, and never, never fill my babies with sand. Kailee comes to you today with the best in GHSP, so that she will look as real and vibrant in years to come, as she does right now. I have gently, lovingly rooted her mohair(only the best from Blackbrookarts will do!)one to two hairs at a time, giving her a realistic looking head of light blonde hair. Her nose is left shaded, not drilled, so that there is no compromise to the vinyl. It adds a much more realistic look to the baby as well. Kailees toes and fingertips have been tipped and sealed with gloss sealer for realism and durability. She takes a magnetic paci, but should you have a pacemaker or other concerns, it can be removed. I have stuffed my baby with a cuddly, very posable feel, with premium polyfill surrounding the nylon packets. Her head is weighted slightly, and needs to be supported when picking her up, just like a 'real' baby. Should her new mommy desire to have her stuffed firmly, I can accomodate that. This baby has been given realistic use of veining and capillaries that add to the baby's just born look!
