You are presented here with an exceptional Prayer Bead Strand that is entirely hand carved by a master Bead carver in the traditional Ottoman style.
Close up pictures show the main beads and separators and the very skilful carving as the beautiful shape of the beads, which, with the main bead carving which are of typical old ottoman carving.


Description :

• Material : Vintage Ivory from Mammoths tusks - Carved in the late 1950's in Istanbul - restrung newly. Mammoth ivory may be recognised from the striations on the ivory that are apparent and relatively wide.
• Tassel : Sterling Silver with beads also of Woolly Mammoth, specially made for this  strand
• General : 99 ROUND Beads spheres 6 mm dia.
• Total length : 40 cm
• Total weight : 30 grams

These beads which are still in mint conditions as having never served, already have a beautiful patina which with age and use and will become even more attractive .
