Hagstrom Swede guitars and basses were top of the line in the 1970’s. Not an LP bass copy, this one has lots of thump and will also come out front when called upon. This bass has the original case which is pretty beat up and has some hemp twine for a handle, but the latches are all working great and the case is solid. The bass has finish checking, dings, worming, etc. all over the body and neck, as seen in the photos. When you have a great bass, it got played a lot and shows it. This one was played and shows it. The pickup surrounds are broken. It needs a new set screw in the bridge for string spacing adjustment, but the string spacing is fine and needs no adjustment at this time. It's also heavy, it weighs about 12lbs.
