Various oral and written tasks teach the pupil to use principles of Russian grammar. Discussing pictures illustrating the poems will help to secure the usage of case forms of nouns and adjectives and introduce some new words into one's vocabulary. The course contains a lot of pictures for coloring which bring in an element of play.
