This is a very nice vintage  hand tooled leather wallet checkbook holder.

The roses  and leaves are either painted  or inked in. I don't know too much about hand tooled leather. There is a large space on the back as shown, where your name can be tooled on/in.

Inside there  is a place to slide in your check book, credit card inserts and a zippered change purse area. The inside may be faux leather though, I am unsure.

Still this is a really nice as new and unused wallet. 7 1/4" x 4 x 3/4 (closed) 11 1/4" when opened up all the way.

This is in 'as new' unused condition.
