The set balances some of the biggest hits with songs that are less familiar but no less compelling. People who caught up with Palmer in the '80s will appreciate early tunes like the stellar "Every Kinda People." A number of songs have seen some post-production polishing, but still remain sonically faithful to the originals, though a radically reworked version of the tricky "Woke Up Laughing" emphasizes a wholly new rhythm scheme.
