Vanilla color net 'kalidar' kurta (top) with 'gota' and gold sequin embellished panels. U neckline with brocade trim embellishments. Red drawstring tie up at back with brocade ball tassels. Three quarter sleeves with brocade and red trim embellished sleeves end. Rhinestones, faux pearl beads, 'zari' and sequin embellished red trim along the hemline. Antique gold sequin embellished hemline. Vanilla cotton silk lining included. This set also include ash vanilla art georgette churidar (slim fit pants) with adjustable drawstrings and red art chiffon dupatta (shawl) with sequin embellished border. ‘Kalidar’ garments are made up of many gored pieces and thus flared. 'Zari' is a type of thread made of fine gold or silver wire used in traditional Indian garments. This thread is woven into fabrics, to create intricate patterns. ‘Gota’ work is a special kind of embroidery using the appliqué technique. Small pieces of metallic thread ribbons are applied onto the fabric with the edges sewn down to create elaborate patterns.
