I BOUGHT THIS TELAVERA AT A REPUTABLE IMPORT STORE IN CALIFORNIA WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT IT IS LEAD FREE AND CAN BE USED FOR FOOD, BUT I'VE JUST HAD IT ON DISPLAY.  IT'S SIGNED "RUTH MEX" AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTO.  THERE ARE NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING.  WHATEVER FLAWS YOU SEE ARE THE RESULT OF IT'S BEING HANDMADE.
