The photo does not to justice to this beautiful tray.  The dark shadows are not silver loss but there are dings in the flat base and two or three 1/4" cracks where the vines are joined. 

This beautiful and dimensional antique oval tray was made in Boston by Lawrence B. Smith.  The tray has several old marks with crossed keys, crown, and head with the word Sheffield.

  The tray features a chunky grapes and vines motif.  It is 19" in diameter and very heavy.  It's an old and lovely piece and I hope it will find a good home!
