This listing is for a detailed hand carved Almond wood magic wand with a double section tapered shaft that is inspired by the wand used by the one who must not be named, the Dark Lord Voldemort. The wand measures 16 inches in overall length with an 11 1/2 inch shaft, 4 1/2 inch handle with an approximate 1 3/4 inch width at the widest part of the handle, and the wand includes a velvet cloth storage bag. The pictured wand is finished with a natural beeswax finish to bring out the unique characteristics of almond wood. Compare the difference between the unfinished wand in the third picture to the beeswax finished wand in the second picture to see how well the beeswax finish brings out the Almond wood characteristics.

Magical properties: This mahogany is an interesting wood mainly because it is very specialized, while containing many of the same characteristics as Honduran mahogany, this mahogany is more feminine. This wood is very focused on fertility and growth. It has a very powerful bond with the Earth, and will channel Earth energy better than any other. Secondary to fertility, this wood has other uses as well; enhancing intuition, strengthening bonds with blood relatives, and exploring and clarifying goals are all possible uses for Mahogany. This wood would not be good for divination.
