Japanese original press sheet issued in 1977 for the film release
The ' press sheet ' so called in Japan is one of movie materials distributed to theatres, publicity agents, magazines, critics and people at previews for the broad aim of giving publicity and getting fame of the films. Its circulation is limited, less than posters and pamphlets, because its basic use is only one time before the film release. The standard size is usually B3 about 50x36cm, the half size of ordinary poster, by poster style which was popular until late 1980. It is printed both sides; the front is usually same as regular poster and the back side shows story, introduction of credits and players and so on as the photo shows in the list, and all texts are in Japanese. We seldom call this item as B3poster.
