I'm totally new to this and I finally got the courage to try selling something, but I am continually getting stuck trying to upload my image and attach it to my ad. The images name is scrapbook2.tif and when I try to upload it my computer says "Sorry - Scrapbook2.tif isn't a valid file name". They have nothing about valid file names in the help category. Can anyone help me??? Thanks!!! Laura

You cannot upload a .tif image. It has to be a .jpg image or possibly a .bmp image.

Just rename the image to scrapbook2.jpg, and you should be able to upload with no problems.

Hello Laura

Welcome to AW. Perhaps the file name should be gif instead of tif?

Did you put the "tif" on the name?

I don't know a lot about images on the computer, but I thought they had to be "jpg" or "gif".

I know that Corel Paint automatically adds .tiff You have to change it to jpg or gif before you save it. Or, just rename it as posted above

My suggestion is to go to an Adode System. I use Adobe Home Edition 3.0 & never have a problem.
