I didnt know this was here until today and I NEED help! Gonna try to make this short, but I had a bunch of jeans and sold them on ebay, one at a time, these jeans happen to be individually numbered with a serial number, which I list in each auction so the buyer knows that he got those exact jeans. Ok, I was up one night when my hubby was leaving for work, I THINK it was around 2:30/3:00AM...I just happened to look at my sellers list through ebay instead of vendio and I had auctions closing! Same time, I got an end of auction notice! Well I KNEW I didnt have any closing then, so I started looking but Iam not good enough to find...First of all, I have NEVER dont even know what ebays listing page looks like, I list through vendio. THEY WERENT on my vendio page! STILL ARENT. Also, the 3 that ended all had the same serial number on them! Going into the history, they were started on my sons birthday, NOT, nobody was anywhere near the puter. Next, they didnt get any bid until the last minute, WRONG these are jeans that SMOKE when they hit ebay! Also , the actual ebay page looks different then mine does. I emailed the bidders, told them what was going on. And emailed ebay, 2 days later I get a response that they didnt find any fraud and if they could help me again to let them know, well thats BULL, I didnt list them! NOW, I dont have the email from ebay where they didnt find fraud, but I have copies of the wbn and stuff, and the auction numbers too. I have changed all PW and stuff and just dont know if I should drop it or what, but I have to pay the fees and stuff if I do! HELP! AUDREY

Have you changed your password lately? Try and go into my ebay and see if your password gets you in then
Read your descriptions and see if someone has inserted a different email address than yours. Next email the buyers and ask them if anyone had contacted then about the jeans.
Maybe someone here has more suggestions.

Now wait, here is a seller that has a problem and probably isn't thinking straight. It is difficult to write something when you are excited. I am sure than when I write a lot of english teachers roll over in their graves but I am not in school. She needs some help and that is why we are here.

Hi Audrey,

I'm not sure I understand what happened...

Three auctions of jeans with the same serial number showed up on eBay and you don't think you listed them?

Please try to explain step-by-step so we can help you. An auction number will help also.

Lucy

Sorry, I didnt realize that ya had to be proper to get help here I guess I just dont fit in with YA'LL...My NY relatives love to hear us say YA'LL... I really would appreciate the help, but I have just started thinking that Im gonna have to suck it up and pay the fees...I KNOW that I did not list them though and its aggrivating. And yes the buyers all got WBN but they look funny, they are similiar but not exact, none of them wanted to chance filling out a checkout. Well, the 2 I heard from anyways wouldnt. I never got a reply from one of them. Well, I guess I should take my non proper english speaking self to bed, but I would rather wait for a reply from one of yous. )))

Oh Audrey, please don't go.

We want to help out but it's kinda hard when we can't see the auctions.

If you can post a couple of the numbers maybe we can figure out what happened.

Have you forwarded the fishy looking emails to [email protected]? That might help.

Try to log in to eBay and bring up your account info. If you can view that, your password has not been changed. While you're there, see if any new listing fees have shown up in the last few days that you don't recognize. If so, someone has your password and is playing games. If you can't view your account, it has been hijacked. Hurry back and let us know what happened. There are several here who can direc you on how to handle the situation, but we need a little more info.

THANKS to some of you! I KNOW that I didnt list them! And yes 3 of them were listed all with the same serial number on the jeans, which is impossible cause they are all different, which I of course know, but SOMEBODY didnt. Theres quite a few more differences that I noticed, most are listed in the first email...the bidding history was really off, the supposed date of listing there was no way, they supposedly sat there with no bids for 5 days and then got bids in the end, which is way off, these jeans get jumped on the minute they hit ebay practically. One man told me that his high bid was 40.00...he was outbid...then he got a WBN for 41.00...and its in the history like that too. If theres a way to see where they launched from I want to look at them first if you dont mind, if im being silly wanting to look into it first then TELL ME! I REALLY want your help!

It would help lots if you would post an auction number so some can look into it and like sparkz says, some could perhaps show you the way to get help from ebay.

Bring up one of the suspicious auctions and right click on a picture. Click on "properties" on the drop down box. Check the url closely and see if it is indeed your image host.

OK here are all 3 auction numbers
2839482317
2839482002
2839483334
Check out the bid history of the ekmania bidder, hes the one that said his high bid was 40.00 then he was outbid and then got a WBN for 41.00...and theres no PP logos in the auction or the wbn, I cant rem which one..Its just all weird, I have never even logged into ebay to check my account because its actually billed to my sisters card. I just send her what they say to send...I know, that sounds sad that I dont keep better records but I am too busy to eat and sleep most of the time. Guess its time to start huh? PLEASE dont tell me how dumb I am!

Going into the history, they were started on my sons birthday, NOT, nobody was anywhere near the puter.

I can count about 20 auctions on your list that were started on that date.

They all were posted with 19 minutes of each other so it probably was not an accidental posting of the same auction by you. Sometimes you can launch an auction and then think it didn't take and do it again a few minutes later.

Your ebay invoice on your My ebay page would show if you posted the auctions in error and should be the first place to look to rule out the chance that you or Vendio accidental launched those auctions.

HI Kiara, I meant that I wrote up from vendio, I had relisted some that day but I didnt actually change all the serial numbers and stuff like I had to do with each other pair..Does that sound totally stupid?

The auctions closed on 6/26. Have you shipped the items?

One other question... I'm having a hard time figuring out what fraud there was on the part of eBay.

If you have the jeans and they have sold, what did eBay do wrong?

Hi Audrey,

I can see them on your closed auctions page. You may have listed them 3 times in error or it may have been a Vendio error?

Audrey,

If you do a relist directly on eBay, as opposed to on Vendio, the auction doesn't show on your Vendio list unless you add it.

I DONT have the jeans, each pair has a DIFFERENT ID number and these are all the same, theres no way possible. I have emailed the bidders and told them that it was an error of some kind and that I dont have them!
Kiara, I mean my sales manager page at vendio, I know they do on ebay but IF I listed them from vendio, they would be in my active listings then go to my closed listings when they closed, correct?

OK thats what I am telling you, I have NEVER listed anything from ebay! NOTHING, I have never relisted an auction through ebay eiether! I just dont! I do everything from vendio. If I dont I cant keep up with it, and I wouldnt relist the SAME ID number jeans 3 times, I have sold 75 pairs of these and I just WOULDNT have done it...

They should be on your closed listings on Vendio. If not, perhaps ask the Vendio reps in Services on this board, Sales Manager & Image Hosting.

http://www.vendio.com/mesg/list.html?num=15

They may be able to trace them for you. You could direct them to this thread in the Outlook so they will understand. Good luck!

Try importing your listings on Vendio and see if the auctions in question show up in your post sale. Check your eBay and Vendio accounts to check and see if you were charged for listings.

Okay, I've never just relisted through Vendio.

I always edit and then save, which creates a new pending auction, so I don't know whether or not a direct Vendio relist would show on my Vendio page. Maybe someone else does.

That said, my suspicion is you inadvertently relisted the jeans three times. If that is what happened there was no "fraud" on the part of eBay.

I 'spose you could file FVF using mutual agreement to cancel the transaction or whatever that reason is. Then you'd get back at least part of your fees.

It looks like one pair of jeans got listed 3 times. It's possible this happened when Ebay changed to the new page design just as one auction was scheduled to launch. It's rare, but it does happen. The launch and change coincided to make Vendio get the hiccups. I've had a couple of occasions in the past where I wound up with a double launch, but it was my fault because of the indiscrimate use of the back button at the wrong time. I learned then to sit on the auction until it actually launches and then check on My Ebay to make sure it actually launched. Do you recall any errors or eratic activity on Ebay or Vendio the night you listed the auction(s)?
