Lucy when you cut and pasted properties in your pics is the [img*] automatically in there? There was no [img*] either before the http:// or at the end, I had to type in it myself. The thing is no one ever mentioned you had to type in the [img] thats why I was having trouble

Hi Classic,

No, it's not in there automatically. What I do is cut and paste the URL into a sample I have saved in an unsent email. Then I copy and paste over here.

Here's what it looks like:

[*image] the URL [*/image] Without the stars, of course. No spaces between the [*image] things and the URL.

Some people use img instead of image. I don't think it matters.

Classic,
Yeah, you've got to type in the command yourself. In this case it was an [img]. Depending on where it's stored, and the circumstances of the posting, you may want to type in [url] which would make it a clickable link. You can go to the post that you edited the info out of, and practice by using the edit mode without bumping the thread to the top of the list.

Oh......... c'mon, sparkz!! What do you mean...... classicrock can edit in here without bumping the thread?? He's such a cutie that he can bump this thread as often as he wants and none of us are going to whine one little bit.

Sheesh......... some guys and all their "useful" information..... lol

Classic,

We type in the stars here so you can see what's needed to put your picture on the board. Without the stars it wouldn't show up.

With the stars: [*image] the URL [*/image]

Without them:

I hope this works out okay...

Editing to add: So what you need to do is copy and paste your picture URL (properties) in between [*image]and[*/image] and then delete the stars (asterisks).

Clear as mud, right?

Kiara...Actually, I was afraid that if that picture of Classic kept coming to the top of the board every 5 minutes, the people posting here would dump Bush, Kerry and Nader and vote for Classic for president. Couldn't you imagine what this country would be like with him in the white house? He'd probably appoint Stone as Secretary of State, Jackswebb as Sec. of Defense, and Twelvepole as U.N. Ambassador. Lucy would get appointed to the supreme court and Sanmar would replace Ashcroft as attorney general. The worst part would be when he appoints Dbest as Secretary of the treasury.

That's why I kinda wanted his picture to scroll to the bottom.

Kiara-thanks for the compliment-ahh did I happen to mention that pic was taken just yesterday??

Okay Lucy-I FINALLY got it LOL ya all had me confused for months with those astericks.

Sparkz-yes me working for the New York State Police for 36 years might label me as a Republican and a conservative. The picks you made sound good to me except for Dbest-Im not really familar with him,but I do remember someone calling him a cheap bastard,or something to that effect.Of course you forgot one post-Vice President-and that would be Elvis of course.Yea I know what our gonna say-he aint looking to well these days,in fact a little on the thin side, but hes very popular and will help me win the election.

Lucy-Dont know where to put Sparkz..ahhh is he any good at getting any chicks??
The president has to have those perks you know.

Classic,
I would be more than honored to serve my government in any position that has the potential for income from bribery, graft and/or corruption. OTOH, Postmaster General wouldn't be bad. I could think of a few modifications that could be made in the Priority Mail rate structure. Especially discounted rates for certain items, such as the items I sell. Reserved parking spaces for Ebay sellers at all Post Offices would be a good idea, and campainging on that issue alone will get you a bunch of votes. And, unlike either of the two present major candidates, I would bet that your military record is spotless (as long as nobody spills the beans about that night in Manilla, or that other incident in New Orleans).

Great idea for President, sparkz! Your choices ....... hmmm..... I can only wonder what the discussions downstairs at the RT would be like after that election!

earthmum--I diss Cleveland beeeeecause

1-the cleveland browns suck
2-the cleveland cavaliers suck
3-the cleveland indians suck
4-the rock and roll hall of fame has inductees such groups as the "Animals"
who had 5 or 6 hits. They don not have Neil Diamond who is already in the "songwriters hall of fame" who has dozens and dozens of hits and who has been performing for almost 40 years to sell out crowds-now I ask you, whats wrong with this pic????
ergo-the rock and roll hall of fame sucks

Eh? Neil Diamond does Rock & Roll? The Boxing Hall of Fame is about 10 miles away, here in central New York, and they don't have The Hulk there.
