EO rules.
Could take a page or two out of Ultimatedressage.com, but it's got as much bang for the buck (oh wait it's free!) as that one does for me.

It's really the people that make up a board, clever, squirrely and funny are not bad traits.

Even the most pompous poster does impart. I humbly gesticulate...er...genuflect with thanks.

I only wish Jerry12 could ocassionally make an appearance.

I also want to thank everyone for all the great hints, tips and advice over the years. Occasionally I hope I have made useful contributions as well. I often recommend this board to both new and old-hand eBayers it has been a tremendously useful resource and I learn new and useful things all the time. I have learned a lot about shipping options, suppliers, software, webshops, hosting sites, ebay promotions, hot items and lots more.

THANKS TO ALL!

Yup, good people here. Thanks to OhMsLucy for being here. I decided not to post anything I didn't want her to read. Makes me more civil, which is what the RT needs more of.

Cheryl,

This is a great board but why abuse the RT in your effort to express your appreciation?

I enjoy reading this board and have learned so much about Ebay here. I can say that without bashing any other board in the entire Online Auction sellers community. Why can't you?

Parklane, you silly!!!

I bet you used to cruise when you were a teenager. I did. Van Nuys Blvd., from Bob's Big Boy up to Vanowen and back, over and over again, in my '54 Jag XK120-SS drophead roadster.

Ahh.... those were the days.

When I mention the RT, I think you know who I mean (or of those I mean). It is getting silly and vicious over there. You might say, I'm politic-ed out. I tried to start threads (and so have others) that were not politically oriented, but it always reverts back to that. I'm not bashing it by saying I'm not posting there anymore or at least until the elections are over. Where's the bashing in that statement? Besides, you should know me well enough to know that if someone says something bad enough, I won't be able to help but post on the RT again. LOL!

Edited to add: Over here on EO, I get along great with Libra and (dare I say it?) twelve. On the RT, I don't. Right now I'd rather be getting along with people.

On a lighter note, my sales are picking up, albiet slowly, but they're picking up nonetheless.

It is getting silly and vicious over there.

Its always been like that and I've been reading and posting there for ages. As far as the politics go over there almost every topic has turned to politics for years. This is nothing new but it seems uglier this time because the country is so divided.

While its generally milder over here I can remember it getting just as silly and vicious. But I do understand anyones need to get away from it once in awhile.

Cheryl!

It's just my opinion that your dissatisfaction with the Round Table should not be the topic here...especially since both boards are associated with Vendio.

Take it easy!

And again, thanks to all of you who make this board so special!

No, it has not always been like that.

I'm not going to name names, but there are at least two RT posters who used to make reasonable arguments that are really just spitting out senseless drivel the past couple of weeks.

I'm starting to wonder if someone has a problem with either their meds or some kind of drinking problem.

I don't think I've seen either of them posting on this thread yet. So at least the present company is excepted, even helen.

And I agree with the OP. I think it is about time to start ignoring the RT for a while. I like debate as much as anyone, but nobody's changing anyone's minds over there. It's just a bunch of name calling, hate-mongering and stupidity.

Jack - what drive-in? Was there a Bob's in Whittier? I don't know. Seldom ventured out of the SF Valley. Well, except for that goofy place in Hollywood - I think it was Carolina Pines?

As far as I can see the RT has been a bang, slash board as far back as I can recall. For the most part it has always been heavy on the political side. When I think back at some of the posters that used to be there there were always battles and few debates.

Too bad there isn't more rational debate because there are some good posters there.

The EO has always been the best board for auction discussion with a good variety of posters here with lots of knowledge and humor.

I think if anyone has anything not so nice to say about the RT or about someone who posts there, then they should post it on the RT instead of "not naming names" here.

I think I'm whats called a "Lurkey Loo"..I am addicted to reading this board. I almost feel that I can picture all of you (All beautiful of course) A few times I've received wonderful answers to a question. My problem is that I spend TOO MUCH TIME reading your postings...time that I should be using to cook or clean or garage sale. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is "Thanks for letting me lurk" !!!

I know what you mean! I managed to drag myself away long enough this morning to clean the kitchen, dining room and living room. Now while I should be cleaning my office and eBay room, I'm reading the boards. Oh well, as long as there's a clear path to my chair...

Hmmmmm....

Used to cruise Fulton and Broadway with my brother in his '55 chevy and Dad's '57 New Yorker with the Hemi.... then they turned Fulton into a pedestrian mall! So we cruised Belmont and Mars drive-in in my buddy's mothers new 64 1/2 Mustang or his '57 Chevy. I had a '65 Chrysler sled and a '60 Plymouth with the tailfins. Nothing quite compared to going out and racing in the figs. Fresno at one time had thousands of acres of figs planted in perfectly flat hardpan. A quarter stick of dynamite basted a sufficient hole to plant the seedling. Great for motorcycle racing! Don't hit a tree.
