Would be nice if we could carry over our Ebay feedback to Yahoo. I am just starting out and have zero rating. I feel like a virgin in the woods!

For the first time in months, Jack made sense. No need to waste your time at ioffer. It is a dead site with too much baby sitting needed for nothing. Yahoo in reality at the moment isn't exactly hot either. Here is a good site that you can input stats into your Yahoo auction to detail your other feedback.

I see a lot of new sellers on Yahoo that say check my eBay feedback with their eBay ID. About 5 years ago Yahoo had a promotion that you could transfer your eBay feedback and they gave you $1.00 in your yahoo wallet for each feedback. You just gave them your eBay ID and they matched the feedback number on Yahoo. At the time I had about 600 feedback on eBay. I still have about $300.00 left in my Yahoo wallet.

That's a neat idea, but I bet it wouldn't work nowdays. eBay would probably sue them claiming they "own" the feedback.
Can't you spend that Yahoo Wallet money on stuff in Yahoo Stores? I think you can... I sure wouldn't let it sit that long without cashing in.

And Jack & Stone are both right. iOffer is just a complete waste of time. Right at the momnent, so is Yahoo, although Yahoo is trying to make a comeback, and is almost certain to improve somewhat in the coming months.
You are allowed to mention your eBay ID and feedback numbers in your Yahoo listings, but DO NOT include a link to eBay... That's the quick way to get zapped.

OK stonecold - I went thru the process on the link you gave me for feedback and now want to cut and paste it into my listings. Where do I paste the HTML so the feedback on 2 sites will show up??

I've had a few good sales at ioffer.
Since there are no listing fees, and you can transfer listings with their software, there is really no time invested in listing your items at the site, so it is not a waste of time.

That feedback link site is pretty cool. If you use option two it has a banner that takes buyers to a page with your feedback PLUS a link to your ebay auctions.
I will have to look into inserting that in my yahoo auctions. It's free advertising for my ebay auctions.
