I have a couple of rings marked H.G.E. Does anyone know if that's some sort of hallmark? Or is it just a monogram. They are not the initials of the woman the rings belonged to.

Thanks in advance.

Hi cherished ... when typing HGE ring into google I find some rings apparently marked that .... one of the links I saw was an ebay store listing, that read, "18k HGE (Electroplate)"

edited to say, I'm not a jewelry expert LOL ..

I always knew it was electroplate but didn't know the exact term. Good to know

First, you see HGE.
Then you think "WTF?"
Then you say (I'm SOL!)

WTF???

Couldn't get a $40 bid on my 18K solid gold ring, and this gold-plated one goes for $102?

Guess P.T. Barnum was right!
